Eesh. The smartphone/superphone that was supposed to stomp out its competitors is off to a very rocky start. With numerous complaints about its unstable connectivity, poor customer service, and spotty 3G access, I ask: WWGD (What Will Google Do)?
posted about 8 months agoI'm a yoga nut. Got into it three years ago and feel like it makes me a stronger runner, which is my #1. I'm usually one of the only dudes in the class, but that's more than OK w/me.
posted about 8 months agoThe credit card thing gets to me, too. In an economy that tanked due to too much borrowing and not enough reserves, it's frightening that the plastic is still being pushed on us so aggressively.
posted about 8 months agoFacebook is rolling out some privacy policy changes that will require you to be proactive & savvy when it comes to protecting your personal information and data. Of course, it's caused an uproar of complaints/concerns/distrust about FB's values and intentions. What do you think? Is Facebook on your side?

posted about 9 months agoWell, at the very least, it sounds like they've cut down the unruly thing to just over 2,000 pages. Whew! To be honest, I'm a little concerned that in the end, after all the trimming, editing, and reconfiguring of the bill, low-income folks may still be getting the short-changed in some big ways. Making medicine and health care more affordable for that population should be top national priority, IMHO, but Reid hasn't convinced me that this bill will deliver that.

posted about 9 months agoI love how the press candy-coats Dobbs' anti-immigration stance by saying he has "strong views on immigration" (Wall St. Journal). The guy is clearly ANTI-immigration, he has wacko conspiracy theories about Latinos, and he questioned President Obama's birth site after CNN reporters determined there was no issue there. As Eric Burns, president of Media Matters, says: "This is a happy day for all those who care about this nation of immigrants and believe in the power of media to elevate the political discourse." Amen, brother.
