Your absolutely right! the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) stated it would be an unsustainable 240 billion dollars a year in deficits. We will have a health czar to oversee the government nightmare of healthcare and create a whole new bureauracy with restrictions and regulations. The cost camparative-efficiency board will decide what procedures you can and can't have depending on your age and productivity.  Look at Medicare it's going bankrupt and it is a nightmare to navigate. You have to have pre-authorization for procedures.  Not to mention the procedures and medicines they don't cover.   Believe me you really don't want a government run health care system.

Public Health Care is rationing. Obama is doing a cost comparative and effectiveness study, that smacks of rationing. Universal health care has not worked in Canada, Great Britian, Australia and France.  They all ended up with rationing with long waits and mandated death for those in the N stage breast cancer. Obama will not pass a bill without Public option! He wants the government to take over health care just like the car companys, banks, mortgage  and energy industry.  The republicans tried to pass amendment to the public option bill that would keep government from telling your doctor how to practise medicine and it was voted down. This is a government overhaul not reform.  I like my health care but when the government takes it over their won't be a private option.

The Health Care Reform Bill mandates anyone over 65 years of age to have counseling every 5 years in regard to your end of life decisions. If the person is ill or in a Nursing Home the counseling should be more frequent until you die. And No I'm not kidding!

I don't support anything that tells another person how to live.  You give up enough of your life when you join the armed services because you and your body are theirs.  If I liked smoking I would not join the armed services if I wanted to continue.
