Let's face the painful truth: Boeing has all but moved its entire 787 assembly to S.C. And yesterday, workers at the Boeing plant there rejected the machinists union. Will Boeing ditch the Seattle area altogether? What--if anything--could stop that?

It can be in any category: news, fashion, food, whatev.

I know, I know. We're amid a recession so I'm supposed to say "SUPPORT THE USA!" But let's be real: There isn't much left of the GM brand and any new hybrid designs they're planning will be too little, too late. Can we just get over ourselves, admit defeat in Detroit, and buy foreign already? Historically speaking, foreign models have had better long-term value, better fuel efficiency, and better looks. In my opinion, that's a win, win, win.
