Congress, republican and democrat want the power. If I'm correct none of them have offered the true solution to the health care problem, and that is to enforce the states to open their borders to all insurances so that the consumer will have a choice in their health care. They shouldn't enforce it upon your company that you work for to provide it. If it was truely open for the consumer to choose what they want and need and for them to purchase it. Right now we really don't have a choice in the matter. This option could open the doors to a whole wide world of options for all of us, to include the people with pre-existing conditions, like myself and my husband.

I hope the current form dies.
We need reform, but we don't need government to screw it up even worse than it already is. We need deregulation of insurance. Let them open up across state lines and COMPETE. Let capitalism work.

Oh God, I hope not, but you know the power of the socialist party is very strong. I can hope for a upset, or maybe the hand of God will make an appearance, who knows.

it will depend on how many dems stand up for what's right re:deficit etc.. if they pass..then we need to get a large enough victory to be able to repeal and over ride a veto..that means a 2/3 majority.. we must be able to put a plan together..oulined etc.. to replace as most want insurance reform..

Something should be passed, through whatever means possible. And both parties of Congress should put the needs of their country before their naked political calculations and do the right thing.

It depends on the amount of backbone the republicans can collect. Most of the dems don't care what the people think or want. It's all about them and the chief of ME.
