Cats require less care than dogs and you can hug and kiss them (I love dogs too, but...)

Dogs don't claw you legs when they want you to feed them like cats might.

Besides I would rather wrestle with a dog than a cat.

Cats don't make you get up to let them out when you are watching TV - and they take up less room on the bed
