A giant multi-touch screen that lets me do everything but take over the world? YES PLEASE! Welcome to the future.
I'm not really into being Apple's guinea pig, but this does look freakin' fascinating. I'm sure that reading a book on this thing would be sweet, too. Touch the screen to turn the page -- I'm there. The publishing industry should be giddy.
I'm not ready to drop $500 or more on this thing. I heard it won't even support Flash. Anyone know if that's true?
Looks really interesting...I'm tired of spending $26 or more for a new book or waiting for one to be available at the library...so intead of putting the $500 towards 19 books, I can buy an IPAD
It is just a giant I-pod touch.

It doesn't play Flash (yet) and I'm not sure it is planning to. I'm not sure I want to go into another walled garden with so many other devices out there. Marvell's reader/tablet, coming out soon, is very cool and you can look at items in either reader or tablet mode. I'll wait and percolate....

Tablet PCs are a dead or at least dying market. I think Apple is flexing their brand name a little too hard attempting this release.
May I also point out that the Apple PC is just that - a PC. If it's not a personal computer, please explain to me what it is. Don't become a slave to their marketing campaign to set themselves apart from Windows/Linux based PCs - they're just running a different operating systems.
