Well this year I need to get back to my walking with the Dog and lose weight.
We howled at the blue moon
On 10’s fleeting brink
And we ate up the moment
And we drank down a drink.
We howled at the blue moon
And awaited the last
Of a decade’s harassment
A rasping, last, gasp.
We howled at the blue moon
And forgave a few too
Those who were rash
And had pissed off a slew
We howled at the blue moon
For friends known and lost
And lit them a candle
And pondered the cost
We howled at the blue moon
And figured the next
10 or so years
hopes and dreams duly flexed
We howled at the blue moon
And committed to heart
Pursuit of the right thing
Plus lovers, plus art.
We howled at the blue moon
And set forth to read
More than a webpage
If it made our eyes bleed
We howled at the blue moon
And did resolve further
To master some Chopin
At the piano – with fervor
We howled at the blue moon
And screamed through the night
To hell with the 00’s
Lets get this right.
We howled at the blue moon
& we’ve howled not in vain
All the best then for oh ten
Keep it real.
Keep it sane.
Yoga four times/week.
Host more dinner parties.
Play piano at least once/week.
Plan a bigger fundraiser for favorite volunteer organization.
