As a conservative on fiscal, national defense, and foreign policy issues, and a moderate on social issues, before the election I believed Obama to be a left wing socialist, and it only took eleven months since his election for him to reconfirm my belief. He is a socialist on economic & fiscal and social issues, an apologist on foreign policy issues, and at best, weak on national defense. I rest my case.
Considering what he walked into, it's nothing short of a miracle that our nation isn't in worse shape. He may not have acted on every promise yet, but change takes time, and I think he's doing all he can do to lift us from the downward spiral we were on with the previous administration. I'd vote for him again in an instant.
I don't place him on a high-and-mighty pedestal like many still do, but I must give him credit for consulting teams of experts and advisers before making any large-scale, heavy-impact decision. Even if you don't agree with his "socialist agenda" in the economic and health care realms, you've gotta admit that he has never approached any issue in a hasty, uninformed, dictatorial manner (ahem--Bush). I'd rather see Hillary in office, but the way Obama has improved our tarnished global image is worth more than we know.
Maybe he's had a hand in making us a more respected member of the international community, but with a president who is sharing all of my hard-earned money and spending all of my grandkids' money, why would I vote him in again? I have never been more afraid for our country's future.
Didn't then.
Wouldn't now.
Spending us into economic ruin is not going to fix anything.

Never voted for him to begin with, he doesn't have the slightest idea
on how to lead the country!

You know what? I never voted for you in the first place and I would never, ever vote for you again. Sorry. :-(
I should have voted for Hillary, at least she had some balls. This guy sold me out.
