Facebook is rolling out some privacy policy changes that will require you to be proactive & savvy when it comes to protecting your personal information and data. Of course, it's caused an uproar of complaints/concerns/distrust about FB's values and intentions. What do you think? Is Facebook on your side?
Most aren't aware of the magnitude of changes, which is too bad. I feel like Facebook is shooting itself in the foot. Some of my old settings were saved as my new default settings, but some have magically shifted to be less restrictive. Freaky.
Here's a novel idea: Don't post anything you don't want the whole world to see!! They don't call it a SOCIAL network for nothing, peeps!!
Yep, I totally got straight As in skewl.

I feel like with these changes I can protect my self better than ever. But instead of it being up to facebook to protect your privacy, they now put the responsibility on its users-where it belongs. It's OUR site, OUR privacy, and WE should protect it; not a multi-million dollar group that runs a fun website.

I believe that they do care. I think it would be an improvement also to make new Facebookers aware of the different privacy options right at the beginning so they can take advantage of them. That is all. :-)
