If you're like me, you are constantly searching for 'meaning' within the lanes of the information super-highway.

Facebook is probably the place where I connect with the most people (as opposed to real life. Who does that anymore?)

Do you have 'meaningful' (meaningful defined any way you choose) conversations on Facebook? Lame ones? Surface ones? What would you change about FB to reach that higher philosophical plane?

Very interesting question!

I think that Facebook should make an effort to publicize the conversations they already have going.

It was only by accident (through the wall of a friend) that I found out that they already '-have- discussion boards! And about everything!  The environment! Sports! TV shows! The whole thing.  Why is it that I know everyone's birthday by heart but don't know that I can chat with people who have similar interests?

Giving people a chance to expand their discussions beyond their own circle of friends would be a huge improvement.
