It's a mistake to think of social as a feature of media, actually, because it is the social that emerges from the use of media.

couldn't agree more, shaunabe... the term is everywhere i turn!!! and while i get that there's a certain savviness and skill-set required to learn SEO techniques, recruit & grow a user community, etc., i still think it's a SERIOUS stretch to elevate these social digi-bees to "expert" status. Is their "expertise" really that challenging to grasp?
